Duration: 1 year course (Classroom + on job Training)

Course Structure:
• 9 months Theory
• 3 months On Job Training at Apollo Hospitals /Apollo Clinics /affiliated hospitals


Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and ambulance technician are terms used to denote a health care provider of emergency medical services. EMTs are trained to respond quickly to emergency situations regarding medical issues, traumatic injuries and accident scenes. The primary focus of the basic Emergency Medical Technician is to provide basic and limited emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. This individual possesses the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care and transportation.
