Eligibility: Nurses with Diploma in General Nursing& Midwifery (GNM) and B.Sc Nursing. Clinical experience post registration of one year is preferred

Duration: Six months

• Four weeks of classroom session at Apollo MedSkills centres
• Eight weeks of on the Job training at Apollo Hospitals /Apollo Clinics /affiliated hospitals
• Twelve weeks of self-study

Description:

Fellowship in Critical Care Nursing is a specialized course within the domain of professional nursing practice. It is specially designed for nurses with an aptitude and inclination of developing specialized nursing knowledge, skills, competencies and expertise in caring for patient populations suffering with critical illnesses and enabling prevention and promo on of health. Upon successful completion of this course the nurse would be proficient in providing advanced critical care to the patients, families and communities in various health-care settings.

Certification: Apollo MedSkills(Apollo Hospitals Group), N.S.D.C and Skill India

Prospects:Employment of registered nurses is projected to grow 19 percent from 2012 to 2022, faster than the average for all occupations. Growth will occur for a number of reasons, including an increased emphasis on preventative care; growing rates of chronic conditions, such as diabetes and obesity; and demand for healthcare services from the baby boomer population, as they live longer and more active lives.
