Fellowship in Diabetes Nursing

Eligibility: Nurses with Diploma in General Nursing& Midwifery (GNM) and B.Sc Nursing.
Clinical experience post registration of one year is preferred.

Duration: Six months

Course Structure:
• Four weeks of classroom session at Apollo MedSkills centres
• Eight weeks of on the Job training at Apollo Hospitals /Apollo Clinics /affiliated hospitals • Twelve weeks of self-study.

Description: Fellowship in Diabetes Nursing is a specialized course within the domain of professional nursing practice. It is specially designed for nurses with an aptitude and inclination of developing specialized nursing knowledge,skills, competencies and expertise in caring for patient populations suffering with Diabetes and enabling prevention and promotion of health. Upon successful completion of this course the nurse would be proficient in providing advanced diabetic care to the patients, families and communities in various health-care settings.
