The massive need for the skilled workforce in healthcare sector has drawn the attention of various public and private organizations to invest their CSR agenda in healthcare skill development programs. Leading names in the country include Coal India Limited, Rural Electrification Corporation Limited, Numaligarh Refinery Limited, ActionAid, Apollo Munich Health Insurance Company have collaborated with Apollo MedSkills to implement their CSR programs in select geographies – Maharashtra, Bihar, Assam, Chennai and Delhi respectively with 473 student enrolments, 363 students completed training with 70% of them secured jobs in leading healthcare companies. 90 students are currently undergoing training in Assam and Visakhapatnam.
