Eligibility:

• Medical graduates with MBBS, registered with MCI/State Medical Council registration.
• Nursing Graduates with a minimum qualification of B.Sc. Nursing / PC-BSC Nursing, registered with State Nursing Council.
• GNM Nurses with minimum experience of one year working in Critical/emergency care units
• Graduates in Pharmacy (B,Pahrm, Pharam D etc), Physiotherapy (BPT) and other allied professions in health care, working and/or potential to work in critical care with minimum of six months' experience.

Registered graduates of Nursing (GNM, B.SC, PBSc and M.SC) and Medicine (MBBS)

Description:

Emergency care can be defined as the delivery of time-sensitive interventions needed to avert death and disability and for which delays of hours can worsen prognosis or render care less effective.

The course is specially designed for the qualified professionals from Health sciences such as Medical and Nursing and other allied health sciences, who demonstrate inclination to improve their skills and competencies in emergency and critical care in various emergency conditions in the Healthcare arena.

Objectives:
Provide a comprehensive learning experience that will develop core competencies of skills and knowledge related to Emergency care among trainees, enabling delivery of safe end qualitative care.
Integrate the concept of Evidence Based Practice into their care to provide qualitative Medical Care.
