Ministry of Rural Development: DDU-GKY Projects

Apollo MedSkills Ltd., is the Project Implementation Agent for the Ministry of Rural Development, DDU-GKY Projects across 22 states with 29 number of training centres in India. Apollo MedSkills is the most preferred healthcare skilling institution offering the skilling and up-skilling courses for the un-employed youth to build their skills; nurturing the students with holistic development programmes for achieving sustainable employment.

The courses offered for healthcare skilling touches every aspect of patient-care during their visit for treatment to hospitals, clinics, old-age homes, pharmacy, diagnostic centres and dental clinics. On completion of training and assessment, successful candidates will be issued a course completion certificate from the Health Sector Skills Council (HSSC) and Apollo MedSkills. All our students are supported with assistance on placement opportunities in the healthcare sector.

Over 38,500 rural un-employed students will learn healthcare skills at Apollo MedSkills training centres to join the leading healthcare brands in India and across the globe. Their contribution to the healthcare sector will create greatest impact in patient-care, academic impact on the student and socio-economic impact for the nation and the households below the poverty line.

Over 17,262 have been enrolled, 12,280 students have completed training. 2730 students are undergoing classroom training. Around 9,770 students have received employment opportunities across India.
